...Look here. I like this place (CrumplePop) because they have some neat stuff. I want to try out some of this stuff in personal projects. They have cool fonts you can use for free and some fun for-profit programs for FCP. Many of them are just wasteful because you can do it yourself, but some are pretty cool. Anyways, download the fonts that you like and have at it. Good times.
... and up to his usual, strange ways. This time the Brooklyn Academy of Music commissioned a work to be done about the Brooklyn-Queens expressway. Sufjan, in his usual methodical way, spent 9 months researching and filming and writing about the expressway and made an album out of it. Just the other day I was telling Becky how I was sad that Sufjan Stevens didn't release anymore music because I love his strange music. It is very cinematic. Then Chris told me this morning about this Sufjan Stevens BQE album. I read about it and then purchased it because I love it. He also made a movie using Super 8mm and 16mm film. This is like a trailer for the film. Strange? Yes. Hoolahoop super women? Yes. Don't ask. I don't know.
... and might I add, doing quite well. Well, let's see what is one the plate. Hmmm... Married? Check. Love of my life. 10-10-09 Honeymoon? Check. Heber, Park City and SLC for 3 days. Back to school? Check. Finally almost caught up. Swine Flu? Possibly. Not me, my wife. ORCA grant? Check (almost). Due at the end of the week and looking good. Other film projects? Check and check. SEEL is progressing, TRA is looking great. Poor? Check. You better believe it.
